Kartarpur: the final chapter of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life
Where Guru Nanak spent his final 18 years
Kartarpur is one of the most important Sikh sacred sites in Pakistan and is traditionally recognised as the place where Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent the final 18 years of his life, sharing his teachings and establishing a Sikh community. The present shrine stands within this historic landscape, preserving the spiritual legacy of his final years. The modern Kartarpur Corridor has further strengthened the site’s significance as a symbol of access to Sikh heritage and people-to-people connection. Yatris can experience darshan, prayer and reflection, visit the historic shrine and sacred areas, learn about this important chapter of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life, and include Kartarpur alongside Nankana Sahib, Rori Sahib and Lahore in a customised pilgrimage route.
The Kartarpur Corridor is a crossing for Indian passport holders arriving from the Indian side. Our yatris enter Pakistan by air on a pilgrim visa and visit Kartarpur by road from Lahore.
